Kanhaiya Masala Udhog

We are located in Shital Pur, over in Ward No. 3. Our building is right near Alkhbani Road, which is a fairly well-known path around here. As Kanhaiya Masala Udhog, we spend our days surrounded by the smell of ground spices. It is a very strong scent, especially when we are processing chili or black pepper, and it stays on your clothes long after you leave for the day. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, except for the sounds of the machinery we use. We don't have the newest equipment in the world, but the machines we have are reliable and they get the job done. Most of the people working here are from the nearby streets in Shital Pur. We start our work early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Alkhbani Road can be quite dusty during the dry season, and sometimes the dust blows into our yard. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and making sure the spice bags are sealed tight. It is hard work, and your eyes might sting a bit from the spices, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. People know us because they see our trucks or they hear the grinders running. We just focus on making the masala the way we were taught. It is a practical business, and we take pride in just getting the orders filled correctly and on time for our neighbors.
