Kamala Masala Center

We've been running Kamala Masala Center for a while now, right here in Village Ajawa. It’s a small place near the bus stand at Nursing Chowk, so most people in Didwana know where to find us. We mostly deal with spices that people use in their kitchens every day. It’s just a regular shop where we grind and pack things as needed. Some days it gets pretty busy when the buses pull in, but we try to keep up. Dealing with spices means there is always a strong smell in the air, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. We started this because there wasn't a good spot nearby to get fresh stuff. Most of our customers are neighbors or folks passing through the taluka. It’s not a big fancy setup, just a practical space with some grinders and bags of raw ingredients. We spend a lot of time cleaning the seeds and making sure the powders are right. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but it’s what we do. If you are walking past the chowk, you’ll probably see us sitting there working. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the jars stay full. It’s a simple life running a spice center in a village like this. We just focus on getting the work done and making sure people have what they need for their cooking.
