Our place is located in Panchwa, right near the Ramdevji Temple in Nawacity. It is a well-known spot in the Nagaur district of Rajasthan. Being so close to the temple means we see a lot of people passing by every single day, especially during the festivals. Our office is a simple building that fits right into the local landscape. Inside, we have some wooden tables and chairs where we do our work. It is often a bit quiet inside compared to the street, which is nice for focusing on our ledgers and paperwork. We have been here for some time now and most of the locals know where to find us if they need anything. The dust from the Nagaur roads usually finds its way inside, so we spend a bit of time every morning cleaning off the desks. We are just a small group of people working together to keep things running smoothly. There is no air conditioning, just a few fans that help us survive the Rajasthan summer heat. We take our lunch breaks together and usually talk about local news or the weather. It is an honest, slow-paced environment that reflects the way of life here in Nawacity.
