Naresh Kirana & General Store

Naresh Kirana & General Store is located at 62-5-22 on Raichur Road. We are right there in Makthal, which is a place that stays fairly busy during the day. Running a general store means you never really have a quiet moment. There is always someone coming in for something they forgot to buy earlier. We handle all sorts of daily items. The shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit a lot on the shelves. Sometimes it feels a bit crowded when a few people come in at once. Raichur Road has a lot of trucks passing by, so it gets noisy outside. We have been at this address for a good bit now. It is a simple life, opening up the shutters in the morning and closing them late at night. We don't have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure things are in stock. If we run out of something, we have to wait for the next delivery truck to come down the road. It can be a bit of a wait sometimes. People in Makthal are mostly regulars who we know by name. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. We just stay open and wait for people to drop by. It’s a practical way to live. The building is old but it stays cool in the summer heat, which is a blessing for us when things get busy.
