Basappa Basappa

I've been here at house 1-89 in Paramandoddi for a long time. It’s a quiet spot in the Maganoor area. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot. People know where to find us because we've always been right here in the village. It isn't a big fancy office or anything like that, just a regular place where work gets done. My family name is on the sign, Basappa Basappa. We handle things as they come. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to chat while we’re busy, and we might share some tea. The road out front gets dusty in the summer months, and we spend a lot of time sweeping the step. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. It gets a bit noisy when things are moving, but that's just how it goes. If you walk past the main part of the village, you'll see the building. It’s a simple setup. We try to keep things organized but sometimes papers pile up on the desk when it's a busy week. Most of the folks around here have known us for years. We don't change much. The building has been the same for as long as I can remember. We just get on with the daily tasks. It’s mostly about sticking to a routine and getting the work out the door. No one here wears a suit.
