Accor

Since we are based at H-No 13-256 in Christian Colony, Shadnagar, things are usually pretty calm around here. Being in the Mahaboobnagar district means we’re away from the heavy traffic of Hyderabad. Our work at Accor involves a lot of back-end tasks that keep the bigger operations going. It’s a simple setup in a residential area, so it doesn't really feel like a high-pressure corporate environment. We mostly focus on making sure all the records are updated and that we are following the daily schedule. There are only a few of us in this office, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to fixing the printer. We don't have any big slogans or missions written on the walls. We just come in, do our hours, and head home. The area is nice because you can actually hear the birds instead of just car horns all day long. Sometimes we have to coordinate with the main offices, which keeps us on our toes. We use basic English and don't try to sound like we’re in a boardroom. It’s just honest work in a quiet part of the state. We’ve been here for a while and the locals know us. It’s a practical way to earn a living without the stress of the city. We just keep our heads down and get the paperwork finished.
