Thai Masala & Foods

You can find us at 356 on the Koradacheri Main Road. We’re in a place called Athikkadai. Thai Masala & Foods is the name on the sign, though most people around here just know us as the spice guys. We spend a lot of time dealing with masalas and other food products. The main road is always busy with buses and trucks passing through to Koradacheri. It gets a bit noisy, but you stop noticing it after a while. We have a small team here. We mostly spend our time cleaning spices and then grinding them up. It’s a lot of work to get the mix right. The air in the shop is always thick with the smell of pepper and coriander. It makes you sneeze if you aren't careful. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on getting the work done every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but that’s just how it is here. Athikkadai is a small community, so word gets around fast if we’re doing something new. We just keep our heads down and keep the machines running. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and we’re used to the daily grind.
