We operate out of 245, New Street in Vaugaponsalai, which is part of Kidarankomdan. It’s a quiet area for the most part, except when we have shipments going out. Most of what we do involves packing and checking items before they leave the building. We spend a lot of time making sure everything is counted correctly and labeled right. It’s not the most exciting work, but it is important to get it right. The team here is small, mostly made up of people from the Karanganpadi area. We all know each other well enough to joke around while we work. The building itself is just a standard warehouse style place on New Street. We don't have any big signs or flashing lights. If you were driving by, you might not even realize what we do inside. We prefer it that way. Most of our days are spent talking to suppliers or coordinating with the transport guys who come to pick up the crates. It’s a lot of logistics but we’ve gotten the hang of it over the years. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to move things, especially when it rains heavy on the street outside. We just wait it out or work around it. It is a simple business run by regular people who just want to do a decent job every day. There is usually a stray cat that hangs around the entrance too.
