Sivasakthi Super Market & Clinic

Sivasakthi Super Market & Clinic is a bit of an unusual setup because we have both the shop and the clinic in one place. We are located at Plot No. 96 in Mettubangla, Kadambadi. It’s near the New Beach area, which is a nice part of town to be in. People come in to buy their groceries or household items, and they can also see the doctor if they aren't feeling well. It keeps us very busy. One minute we’re stocking shelves and the next we’re helping someone with a medical question. The Mettubangla area is pretty quiet compared to the main city, but we get a lot of locals coming through. Being near the beach means we sometimes get a bit of a breeze, which is nice in the summer when it gets stuffy. The building is a decent size to fit everything in. We try to keep the supermarket side tidy and the clinic side clean for the patients. It’s a practical way to run things for the community here. Folks like being able to get their shopping done and check on their health in one single trip. We’ve been at this location for a while now. It’s a family-run kind of vibe. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. It’s just how we do things here in Kadambadi. It works for us and the neighbors.
