Ram Earth Movers

Ram Earth Movers is located at 45 Javulikara Street, right on Old Market Road. It’s one of those narrow streets where things always feel a bit cramped, especially when we’re trying to move our machinery through. The market is right there, so it’s always crowded with shoppers and vendors selling everything you can imagine. We’ve been in this spot for years and the walls are covered in calendars and old photos. It’s a loud place to work with all the shouting from the market and the honking of horns. We spend most of our time out on sites, but this is where we come back to do the paperwork and plan the next day. The oil stains on the floor tell you exactly what kind of business we run. It’s not a place for clean clothes or polished shoes. We do a lot of digging and clearing for the old buildings around here that are getting renovated. It’s tricky work because the alleys are so small. Most of the time, we’re just happy to have a cold drink after a long day in the heat. Javulikara Street has a lot of history and we feel like a small part of it now. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people seeing our signs or hearing about us from their neighbors. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it works for us.
