Qulity Control

Our place is called Qulity Control and we are located way out in Tamil Nadu, in a village called Villiyanallur near Thiruvidaimaruthur. The address is Arcadu 50, and it is a bit of a journey to get here if you are coming from the bigger cities. The area is very green and surrounded by fields, which is a nice change from the industrial zones you usually see. We don’t have a big corporate sign or anything, just a small board near the entrance. The building is simple and stays fairly cool because of the trees around it, though the humidity in Tanjore can be something else during the peak of summer. Most of the people working here are from the nearby villages, so there is a lot of local talk in the canteen during the break. We focus on our tasks without much fuss. The floors are stone and the walls are painted a simple white, and we keep things pretty tidy. We don't get many random walk-ins because of the location, so it is usually just us and the occasional delivery truck. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just wait it out or finish up what we can by hand. It’s a practical, hardworking atmosphere where nobody puts on airs. If you’re visiting, the roads around Kuttalam can be a bit bumpy, so it is best to take it slow and enjoy the scenery.
