Jeeva Traders

16/42 Gandhi Nagar is where you will find us. Jeeva Traders has been here in Koranad for quite some time now. The street gets very crowded in the evenings and finding a place to park a cycle is hard. We have a lot of bags and boxes piled up inside. It is not the most organized place, but I know where everything is. If you ask for something, I can usually find it in a minute or two. The ceiling fan is old and makes a clicking sound that I don’t even hear anymore. Dealing with suppliers is the hardest part. They come late or bring the wrong stuff and we have to argue a bit. Koranad is a busy area and there is always noise from the street. I keep a small chair near the counter for when my legs get tired. The light in the back of the store is a bit dim, so I use a torch sometimes. We don’t do any advertising. People in Gandhi Nagar just know we are here. It’s a plain business and we don’t try to make it look like something it isn't. The door is always open from nine to nine, unless it’s a holiday or I’m feeling unwell. My son says I should get a computer but I like my old way of doing things better. It keeps my brain sharp and my eyes focused.
