The office is actually down in Sirkali Taluk, which is in the Nagapattinam District of Tamil Nadu. Even though the name says Bangalore, this is where we are located on Car South Street. It’s at number 5/6A. The street is usually quite lively, especially in the mornings when people are heading out. It feels different here compared to the big city life. We’ve got a small setup, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever got around to it. Most days are pretty quiet, except for the occasional bike passing by or neighbors chatting outside. We have our routines and we stick to them. The weather gets really humid since we aren't too far from the coast, so the fans are always running in the office. We keep our records in some old metal cupboards. It isn't a high-tech place, just a simple room with some chairs and a table where we sit and talk through what needs doing. Getting here takes a bit of time if you're coming from the main highway, but the locals know the way. We’ve been at this address for some time now and everyone on South Street knows who we are. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to stay organized despite the heat and the dust. We handle our business and go home to our families in the evening. Most of us have lived in this district our whole lives.
