Board

Down in Sirkazhi, in the Nagai district, we have our setup at 151 Eranyan Nagar. We just call it the Board. It’s a simple building in a quiet part of Tamil Nadu. The pin code is 609110 if you are trying to mail us something. We spend most of our time dealing with local matters and administrative tasks that come through the door. It is not a big corporate place with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular office where we sit at old desks and talk to the people who come by with questions. Sometimes the fans are a bit noisy, and it gets quite warm in the afternoons. We have a few staff members who have been here for years and know everyone in the neighborhood. We handle the paperwork, keep the records, and try to stay on top of whatever the current requirements are. It is a lot of writing things down by hand still, though we have a computer now too. Life moves at a bit of a slower pace here in Eranyan Nagar compared to the big cities. We usually close up on time and head home to our families. It’s a steady job and we try to do it right without making a big fuss. People around here know where to find us if they need anything related to the board's work.
