Aathisakthi Coir Industries is located at 101/7A on the Main Road in Narayanapuram. If you are looking for us, we are near the Thiruvali Post office area. Being on the Main Road means we get a lot of noise from the buses and motorcycles passing by all day. The building is a simple structure with a corrugated metal roof that gets pretty loud when it rains. We deal with coir all day long, so the air is often filled with that earthy smell. Our office is just a small corner with a couple of desks and a shelf full of old files. We don't have a lot of visitors, but when we do, we usually offer them a glass of water and a seat on the plastic chairs. The work is steady and repetitive. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the fiber and making sure the loads are ready to go out. Narayanapuram is a quiet enough place once you get off the main road, but we are right in the thick of it. We don't have any fancy tech or modern furniture. Everything we use is old and reliable. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and start the day’s work. It is a simple way of life and we have been doing it this way for a long time. We don't plan on changing much about how we operate.
