Sharpener Consultancy Services is based in Haibargaon, Nagaon. We set this up at Baneswar Saikia's place in Kusal Nagar. It’s a small one-person kind of operation most days. Nagaon is our home, and we like working here rather than moving to the city. The office is just a simple room with some desks and a lot of folders. We don't have a big fancy sign outside. Most of our day is spent dealing with paperwork and talking to people who come by with questions. It gets noisy outside because Haibargaon is quite busy, but we've got used to it over the years. Sometimes I’m out for meetings or visiting sites, so the office might be locked for an hour or two. We don't try to sound more important than we are. It’s just about getting the consultancy work done and helping folks out with their files. The heat in the summer can be tough since we don't have a massive cooling system, just a few fans that hum all day. We’ve been part of this community for a while, and people know where to find us. There isn't a huge team here, just me and occasionally some help when things get piled up. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to be as straightforward as possible. It’s basic, honest work. We don't have a grand vision or anything, just the goal of finishing the day's pile of papers.
