Purvottar Vikash Foundation

Our foundation is located out in Chitalmari Pather. If you know the Jhuria area in Nagaon, you know it’s mostly fields and small villages. We are based near Chitalmari Bill, which is a local landmark for most of us here. This part of Assam is where we live and work every day. The office isn't anything special, just a spot where we can sit down and figure things out. We deal with a lot of stuff related to the local community because that’s who we are. Living in a place like Nagaon-782124 means you get to know everyone pretty fast. We don't use any big words or have a giant board of directors telling us what to do. It’s just a small group of people trying to keep the Purvottar Vikash Foundation going from this village. Some days are slow, and some days everyone shows up at once. We usually have some tea and talk through whatever needs to get done. The address is a bit of a mouthful if you aren't from around here, but it's home to us. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on moving anywhere else. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we handle in the village. We just focus on the tasks at hand and don't worry much about being polished or looking like a big city company. There’s always someone stopping by with a question or a bit of news from the village, and we just handle it.
