Ham-Ak Foundation

Ham-Ak Foundation is located at Ham-Ak Bhawan on the Dhing Road. We’re in the village and post office area of Shillongoni, and you can find us by looking for Inamul Hassan’s place. Dhing Road is usually quite active, so there’s always something happening outside our doors. Our building isn't a fancy high-rise; it's a practical structure that fits right into the local area. Inside, it’s pretty straightforward. We have our desks, some old chairs, and plenty of files tucked away in corners. It’s not the most modern setup you’ll ever see, but it gets the job done for us. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of the foundation and talking to the people who come by. Sometimes it gets a little loud when the traffic picks up outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren’t a big team, so everyone ends up doing a little bit of everything, from answering phones to cleaning up the office at the end of the day. It’s a bit of a juggling act sometimes, and things don’t always go according to plan. We might miss a call or take a while to respond to a letter, but we’re doing our best with the resources we have. We’re just a local foundation based in Shillongoni, trying to keep things running smoothly one day at a time. It is a long road but we are still here.
