G L Traders

Being at Jamuguri Chariali means we are right where everyone passes through. It’s a central spot, and we see a lot of people coming and going every day. G L Traders is just a small operation. We don’t have a massive warehouse or hundreds of employees. It’s usually just a couple of us behind the counter or checking the stock in the back. The area can get pretty busy, especially on market days when the roads are full of people and noise. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who walk by our door. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most people just know we are here at the Chariali and stop by when they need something. The shop isn't perfectly organized, and sometimes it takes us a minute to find a specific item, but we eventually get there. We share a lot of stories with the customers who have time to stick around for a bit. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a website that’s updated every hour or any of those modern things. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait to see who comes in. It’s a steady pace of life, and we like the community feel. Sometimes we get behind on paperwork when too many people stop in to talk, but that's just part of being at a junction.
