Deb Engineering

We are located in Ward No- 3 on Lanka Road, in the Hojai district. Our shop is easy to find because we are near the turn-offs for Diphu and Nagaon, and quite close to Ganga Path. It’s a good spot because a lot of people pass by on their way to the bigger towns. We do engineering work, mostly involving repairs and making things for local use. The building is a simple one, and we share the area with a few other small businesses. The weather around here can be unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time making sure the workshop stays dry when the heavy rains come. We have a small crew of locals who work here. We don’t have any big titles or fancy roles. Everyone just chips in with whatever needs doing at the time. Sometimes we are fixing a piece of farm equipment, and other times we are working on something for a house nearby. It is a slow pace of life in Hojai compared to the big cities, but we like it that way. We know our neighbors and we see the same faces every day on Lanka Road. We don’t do much in the way of marketing or anything like that. People just know we are here by the noise of the tools and the sign out front. We keep our tools sharp and our workbench messy but functional for the daily grind.
