Bidya Saray Foundation

We are located at Shyam Charan Das’s place in Krishna Nagar, Ward 9, right on Sani Bari Road in Hojai. It’s a familiar spot for people who live around here. We’ve been operating from this address for some time now. It’s not a big corporate building with a lobby or anything. It is just a simple house where we do our work. We focus on local things in the Nagaon area. Most of our days are spent talking to people who drop by with questions or ideas. We don't have a big team of professionals. It is just a few of us who grew up in the area and wanted to be useful. Sometimes the work is slow and other times we have too much to do at once. We don't have a fancy website or any big marketing plans. We just take things as they come. If you walk down Sani Bari Road, you’ll probably see us or someone who knows where we are. We try to keep things practical and honest. There is a lot of paperwork involved in running a foundation, which isn't the fun part, but it has to be done. We aren't trying to be the biggest group out there. We just want to do our part for the neighborhood. It’s hard work and it can be frustrating, but we stay at it. That is pretty much who we are, just local folks doing what we can.
