Moon Trader

Ravi started this place at Door No: 488 over in Thammadahalli. It’s not a huge setup, just a solid building where we manage all the trading stuff that comes through Chamarajanagar. Most of the time, the yard is full of whatever we’re moving that week. It gets pretty quiet out here sometimes, but then three trucks will show up at once and we’re all rushing around trying to find space. I spend a lot of my day checking lists and making sure the counts are right. We deal with all sorts of goods, so you never really know what the next shipment will look like. The office is just a small room with a fan that clicks on the ceiling, but it does the job for us. People from the village often drop by to chat or ask about prices for their own farms. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the door number and local people knowing where Ravi is. Sometimes the heavy rain makes the road a bit messy, which slows everything down, but we just wait it out until things dry up. It’s a straightforward business. We buy things, we store them, and we sell them. There aren't many complicated systems here, just paper ledgers and a lot of phone calls. My brother helps out when things get backed up during harvest. We just try to keep the customers happy so they come back next time.
