Megha Engineering

Our workshop, Megha Engineering, is situated at 114/78 on the Chamarajnagar Br Hills Road. It is a busy stretch of road and we have been here for a good while now. Most people in Chamarajanagar know this route if they are heading out toward the hills. We handle a lot of different engineering tasks, mostly stuff that comes in from local farms or small factories nearby. It might be a broken part that needs fixing or something that needs to be built from scratch based on a rough drawing. We don't have a big corporate office or a team of secretaries. It is mostly just us in our work clothes, getting our hands dirty. The shop floor is where everything happens. We have some older lathes and a few newer tools we picked up over the years. It’s not always quiet and it definitely isn't the cleanest place, but we know where everything is. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought it would because a part is hard to find, but we try to be straight with people about that. We aren't doing any big advertising or anything like that. Most of our work comes from folks who have been here before or someone who told their neighbor about us. It is a simple way of doing things, but it keeps the lights on and the machines running. We are usually here six days a week.
