Our spot is way out at 5-896 in Mangala Post, which is part of Gundlupet Taluk. It’s right on the way to Chamarajanagar. Most people know this area because they’re passing through to go somewhere else. It can be a bit lonely out here sometimes, but we like the space. The building itself is pretty basic, just a place for us to manage things and keep the equipment. We spend a lot of time looking out at the road, watching the different cars go by. It’s a dry area, so we deal with a lot of dust on the windows. We don't have a team of decorators or anything; we just put things where they fit. If a chair breaks, we fix it ourselves or just find another one. It’s a very practical way to run things. The neighbors are mostly farmers or people who have lived in Mangala for generations. We talk to them over the fence or when they stop by. Our routine is pretty much the same every day. We open up early, get the coffee stuff ready, and stay until the sun goes down. There isn't much to do for fun around here, so we mostly just focus on the work. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve become a part of the landscape here, just another building on the long road through Gundlupet.
