Vastra

Vastra is located over at the Prime Location in Vaniyawad, on Patlad Road in Nadiad. It is a decent spot, easy enough for people to find when they are out doing their daily errands. We have been here for a bit now, just trying to keep the shop running smoothly. It is not a huge city like Surat, so things are a little quieter here, which we do not mind. We mostly handle different types of clothing, whatever people in Nadiad are looking for at the time. The shop has big windows, so we get some good light in the afternoons. Sometimes the street gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up. We spend a lot of time organizing the racks and making sure things look halfway decent. It is just a few of us working here, so we do everything from cleaning to checking the stock. We do not have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop where people can come and touch the fabric before they buy it. It is a practical way of doing things. We know most of our customers by name since they live nearby. It is nice to have a chat while they look around. We do not push anyone to buy things. If they like something, they take it. That is how we have always done it. It is a simple life, keeping the shop open and seeing familiar faces every day. We just try to keep enough variety on the shelves for everyone.
