Shaishav Children Hospital

Shaishav Children Hospital is located in Desai Vago, right opposite the Ipcowala Hall. If you know the area, you know the hall is a big landmark, so we are easy to find. We focus on kids here, which means the clinic can get a bit loud and chaotic at times, but that’s just the nature of the work. We’ve been in Desai Vago for a while now and have seen a lot of children grow up over the years. The hospital is set up to be functional for parents and their little ones. It isn’t a fancy, polished place like the ones you see in big cities, but we have everything we need to take care of the kids who come through. From fevers to routine checkups, we stay busy from the moment we open. The staff is used to the crying and the running around, and we just take it all in stride. Most of our patients come from the local families who live in the surrounding streets. They know they can just walk over or take a quick rickshaw to get here. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, it’s just one parent telling another about us. It’s a simple, honest way to run a hospital. We just focus on getting the children feeling better so they can get back to being kids. It’s a noisy, busy, but rewarding place to be every day.
