Our place, Vertex Technologies Pvt. Ltd., is situated right above Amin Motors on Santram Road. It’s a handy landmark for us because almost everyone in the area knows the garage downstairs. Being on the upper floor means we get a bit of the engine noise and the smell of oil from time to time, but you get used to that after a week. The stairs up to the office are a little narrow, but they get you where you need to go. Inside, it’s mostly computers and some test equipment scattered around. We spend a lot of time troubleshooting things and looking at screens for hours. It’s a small team here. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby area for visitors. Most of our desks are covered in old notebooks and spare cables that we might need later. Santram Road is always active, so there’s plenty to see out the window when we take a quick break. We’ve been here for several years now. Some days are slow, and we just catch up on filing or cleaning, while other days are a complete mess with everyone talking at once. We don't really follow a strict corporate schedule; we just work until the specific job is finished. If the power goes out, we usually just sit and chat until the lights come back on. It’s a very local feel here. We know the guys downstairs at the motor shop pretty well and share news from the street.
