Sai Export & Import

We are based in Dumral Bazar, right above Sakhi Dresses on the first floor. Sai Export & Import isn't a huge operation, but we stay busy with the flow of goods. The bazar is always noisy and full of life, which makes the workday go by pretty fast. Being on the first floor gives us a little bit of distance from the street noise, but not much. Most of our time is spent checking lists and making sure the boxes are packed correctly. We handle a variety of items, whatever is moving in the market at the time. It is a practical business. We don't have a reception desk or fancy chairs; it’s just tables, computers, and a lot of shipping labels. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so moving heavy stuff can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We've lived and worked in this area for a long time, so we know most of the faces around here. It is a community of traders and small business owners just trying to make a living. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or anything like that. People know where we are if they need to send something out or bring something in. It is just how things work in this part of town, and we are happy to be a part of it. The rain can make the market streets messy, but we keep the work going regardless. We close the shop a bit early on festival days.
