You will find us out on Highway No-8, near the S R Petrol Pump at Bumel Chokdi. Being on the highway means we see a lot of trucks and travelers passing through at all hours. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The location is good because the heavy trucks can pull in and out without much trouble. We mostly have big blocks and slabs of stone sitting out in the yard. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon, so we spend a lot of time under the shade of the small porch. It’s a simple setup with a desk and some chairs for when visitors stop by. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays. What you see is what we have. Sometimes the wind blows the dust from the highway right into our faces, but that is just how it is working out here. We have a few workers who help with the heavy lifting and loading the flatbeds. Most of our talk is about stone quality and transport costs. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around. We just want to do our job and go home. The petrol pump next door is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. If you hit the Chokdi, you’ve basically arrived. It's a loud, busy place but we like being where the action is on the main road. It's how things are here.
