We are S. K. T. Sons, located right there in Vachhevad. If you find the State Bank of India in Nadiad, we are right near it. It’s a good spot because everyone knows the bank, so they find us pretty easily. The shop has been around and it feels like it. We have shelves that are a bit old and a floor that has seen a lot of feet over the years. It’s a family kind of thing, so there is always someone around talking or moving stock. Nadiad is a busy place and the street outside stays loud most of the day. We spend a lot of time just talking to the people who stop by. It’s not just about selling things, it’s about being part of the town. We handle a lot of different items and sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy. We aren't trying to be some big modern store with bright lights and fancy displays. It’s just us and the goods we have. Sometimes we sit on the stools out front when things are slow and just watch the traffic go by the bank. It’s a simple way to run a business. We know most of the regulars by name. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks through the door. We just try to keep things moving and stay here for the people in Nadiad.
