Shah Paperplast Industries Ltd. is located over at C-3/4 in the G I D C Estatemill Road area. It’s a typical industrial spot, so there’s always trucks coming and going and plenty of noise from the nearby units. We’ve been based here for a good number of years. We mostly deal with paper and plastic products, which means there is a lot of stuff taking up space on the factory floor. It’s not a very pretty building, but it does what we need it to do. We don't have a big corporate staff, just people who know how to work the machines and get the job done. Estatemill Road can be a bit of a nightmare for traffic in the mornings, so we try to get our loading done as early as possible. The workshop is usually a bit dusty and the lighting isn't great, but we’re used to it. We don't spend money on marketing or fancy offices because we'd rather just focus on our daily production. Most of our customers find us because they’re already doing business in the estate. If you stop by, you’ll probably find us mid-task, covered in a bit of grit. It’s honest work and we don't try to make it sound like anything more than it is. We just make the products, pack them up, and get them on the road. Some days the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves, but that's just business.
