Chem Mech Rubbers & Engineers

Our workshop is at the Old Belal Dairy site in Malarpura. We are right near Khara Kuwa. It’s an interesting spot because of the old buildings around here. Chem Mech Rubbers & Engineers is where we spend our time working on rubber parts and small engineering jobs. The building has a lot of character, though it’s not exactly modern. We have some heavy machines for cutting and shaping rubber. It’s usually quite oily and noisy when we are in the middle of a project. We aren't trying to be a high-tech lab. We are more of a hands-on shop where we figure things out as we go. Malarpura is a quiet enough neighborhood, and we like being near Khara Kuwa. We deal with a lot of industrial clients who need specific parts made. Sometimes the drawings they bring us are a bit confusing, so we spend time sketching things out on scraps of paper. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us at the back near the lathes. We wear old coveralls because the grease and rubber dust get everywhere. It’s a tough job but satisfying when a part fits perfectly. We’ve been doing this for years and don’t plan on changing much. It’s just how we run things here at the old dairy location. We often have to prop the doors open in the afternoon just to get a bit of a breeze through the workshop.
