We are located at the J. S. Ayurveda College on College Road. It’s a place where things feel quite traditional and academic. The building is older, with high ceilings and wide hallways that stay relatively cool even when the sun is beating down on the street outside. You can hear the sounds of the campus throughout the day, people talking in the corridors and the occasional bell ringing between sessions. It’s an institute, so there’s a lot of reading and talking about old texts and different types of plants. The desks are made of heavy wood and have been there for a very long time. There’s a specific smell of old paper and maybe some herbal oils from the lab rooms. I usually spend my time in a small office with a window that looks out toward the road. It’s nice to see the trees outside when I take a break. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything runs okay. It’s not like a big modern university. It’s much more personal and a bit slower. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we just stick to the books. We have students coming in and out, asking questions about their assignments or looking for some help. It’s a steady routine. I walk to the college gates every afternoon to get a snack. It’s a good place to be if you like a bit of peace and quiet while you get your work done.
