Zodiac Express is situated in a place called Ranaghat in the Nadia district. Our address is 29/3 Rabindra Sarani, right in the Sidheswaritala area. It’s a lot quieter here than in the big cities like Kolkata, but it has its own pace. The office is near the post office, so there’s always people walking by. We handle express deliveries and moving goods for people around the region. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few of us who grew up in this town. We know most of our customers by name because they live just a few streets away. The building is an older one, and it stays relatively cool inside even when it’s hot outside. We have a lot of notebooks where we write down the daily entries before putting them into the computer. It feels more reliable that way sometimes. The train station isn’t too far, so we hear the whistles throughout the day. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just rely on being here when people need us. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the local football matches during our breaks. It’s a steady kind of life. We take care of the packages and make sure the labels are stuck on right. It’s simple, but it’s our business and we take it seriously in our own way. We just keep the door open for whoever needs to send something.
