Udyog Gramin Nidhi Limited

Udyog Gramin Nidhi Limited is over in Nrisinghapur, which is part of Santipur in the Nadia district. We are located at Prasanta Majumder’s place. If you are familiar with Santipur, you know it’s a place with a lot of history, but our office is just a practical workspace. We don’t have anything fancy like leather chairs or glass partitions. It’s just us, some sturdy tables, and a lot of files. The air can get quite still in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open to get whatever breeze we can. Most of the time is spent checking documents and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but someone has to do it. We have a small corner where we keep the water jug and some glasses. People stop by throughout the day, and we do our best to help them with whatever they came for. It’s a very grounded sort of environment. We don't use a lot of big corporate talk because it doesn't fit who we are. We are just local people working in a local office. By the time evening rolls around, we’re usually ready to head home, but there is always something left to do for the next morning. That’s just the nature of the job we have here in Nrisinghapur. We just show up and keep things moving.
