Shyam Century Ferrous,13.8Mw Captive Power Plant

We are located out in Rajarmath, a village area in the Nadia district. Getting here from Chakdaha takes a bit of time because the local roads are often busy with tractors and cycles. Our main focus here is managing the 13.8Mw captive power plant, which is a fairly large operation for this quiet spot. The machinery runs pretty much all the time, so there is a constant low rumble that you can feel in the floor. Most of the workers here are locals who live just a short walk or bike ride away. Our office isn't anything fancy, just some sturdy desks and stacks of old ledgers near the windows. When summer hits Nadia, the heat in these open fields is intense, so we keep the ceiling fans on high all day long. A typical day involves staring at dials and making sure the fuel supplies are coming in as they should. Dust from the transport trucks is just something we live with, and it settles on everything if you don't wipe it down. There isn't a receptionist or a lobby for visitors to sit in. If you stop by, you will likely find us in the middle of a task with a clipboard in hand. It’s a busy environment where something always needs to be oiled or adjusted. We just focus on our daily routine and keeping the plant running steadily.
