Shuvam Watch Straps Private Limited is situated in Village Vasa. We are located near the Post Office and Police Station in Bishnupur, which is in the South 24 Parganas district. It is a proper village setting, quite a distance away from the hustle of the big cities. Our factory is a simple building where we focus on making watch straps. We have got various machines and workstations set up where the local staff work every day. It is a very hands-on environment. You will see rolls of material and tools scattered around as we go through the production process. We do not have a fancy corporate office. Our management happens right there on the floor with everyone else. Being in South 24 Parganas, specifically in the Bishnupur area, means we are part of the local community. Many of the people who work here live just a short walk away. We start the machines early and keep going until the day's targets are met. It is hard work and requires a lot of attention to detail to make sure the straps are cut and stitched correctly. We do not spend much time on the computer or doing marketing. Most of our effort goes into the physical product. It is a practical, no-nonsense business where we value the skills of our workers. We just stay here in Village Vasa and keep the production moving as best as we can, every single day we are open.
