Santipur is a place famous for its handloom and fabrics, so it made sense for us to be here. We are not a huge factory or anything like that. We are a more modest operation located right on Bejpara Lane. The area is filled with other people working in the same industry. We spend our days managing the fab bazar and making sure things are moving as they should. It is a very local way of working. We don't have a big head office in a city somewhere. Our heart is right here in Nadia. The building we are in is quite old and simple, but it is perfect for what we need. We don't bother with fancy signs or expensive furniture. We just have what we need to get the work done. People around the neighborhood know us well. We talk to the people we buy from and sell to in a very direct way. There is no corporate polish in how we do things. We just try to be fair and keep the business running smoothly. Being on Bejpara Lane means we are close to the actual production, which is important to us. We like the connection to the local heritage of Santipur. It’s a busy life, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep doing what we know how to do.
