Shah Sponge And Power Pvt.Ltd. is based out in Kalyani, over in the Nadia district. Our place is at A-10/26, and it is a proper industrial setting. If you have ever been to this part of West Bengal, you know it gets very hot and humid. We spend our time managing the plant and making sure the production is steady. Sponge iron and power generation are not exactly quiet businesses. There is always the hum of machines in the background. My office is near the main gate, so I see all the trucks coming and going. We have a lot of local workers from Nadia who have been with us for years. They know the routine of the furnace and the power units. It is a 24-hour kind of job, so someone is always here. We do not have a lot of visitors, mostly just suppliers or engineers checking on the equipment.
