Seba Homoeo Clinic

Our little place is over in Chakdaha, right in the Nadia district. It isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a regular door on a regular street, but we put a lot of time into keeping it running well for the folks around here. We deal with homeopathy, so the clinic is full of those small containers and the usual stuff you’d expect to see in a local practice. Most days are pretty steady. We open up, sweep the floor, and get the water ready for anyone who might be thirsty. You’ll usually find one of us sitting at the wooden desk near the front. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand in big ledgers because that’s how we’ve always done it. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice for the people who come in feeling a bit under the weather. They can just sit for a minute and catch their breath. We aren’t trying to be the biggest place in West Bengal or anything like that. We just want to make sure the people who live in Chakdaha have somewhere to go when they need to talk about their health. It’s a simple life, and the work is good. We see families who have lived here for generations, and that makes the day go by a lot faster. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one.
