Sanghamitra Sarees

We've been around Badkulla for quite a while now. Our shop is right near Anami Club, it's a spot everyone knows if you live in this part of Nadia. Honestly, we just like selling sarees. It started out small in the village and we just kept at it over the years. People come in from all over the village and the PO area to see what we have on the shelves. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded, especially during the festival months, but that's just how it goes here. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It’s just a plain room with a lot of fabric piled up. My cousin helps out when it gets busy. We spend most of our mornings unpacking new stock and folding things back up after customers leave. It’s a lot of work keeping things tidy. Most of our regulars are neighbors who’ve been coming to us since we opened. If you’re walking past the club, you can usually see us sitting there. There isn't much to say other than we have sarees and we're open most days unless something comes up. It’s a quiet life here in the village. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the clothes. Sometimes the power goes out, but we just open the doors for light. It is what it is. Just a local shop for local people who need something nice to wear. It's a humble living for us.
