Sammanoy Foundation

We are located out in Village Lalpur Pumlia Daspara, which is part of the Chakdaha area in Nadia. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Kali Mandir, which everyone around here knows. Ashok Das is who handles things here at his place. The foundation started because there is always something to do in a village like ours. Some days are very quiet, just the sound of the birds and the temple bells, and other days get quite busy with people coming in and out. It is a simple setup, nothing fancy at all. We sit in a small room and try to figure out how to help with whatever is needed that day. The roads here can get a bit muddy when it rains, so people usually just walk or take a cycle. Being in a place like Nadia means we see a lot of local faces every single day. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. It’s just us working from a home address. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside for a bit. It’s a very local way of doing things. We’ve been here for a while now and most people in the Daspara area know who we are. If you ask anyone near the temple, they will point you toward Ashok’s house. It is just a normal life here, trying to stay useful to the neighbors and the village as much as we can.
