We are Ruhika Microcare Foundation. Our office is in Chakdah, over in the Nadia district. We are right by the Joshra Jagannath Mondir, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. Goutam Das is the person we are with at this location. It’s a nice part of West Bengal. The temple is right there, so there is always a bit of activity around. Our space is simple and functional. We don't have any fancy furniture or high-tech setups. It is just a place to work and talk to people. Being in Nadia, we see a lot of different folks every day. It works for us because people know the temple and can find their way here easily. We do our work without making a lot of noise about it. There’s no marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded, but we manage. We like the local feel of Chakdah. It’s a place where word of mouth matters more than a website. We just keep things moving along, one day at a time. It’s practical work for real people in the neighborhood. You can usually find Goutam or one of the others around during the day. We don't keep strict corporate hours, but we are usually there when needed.
