Rj Pharma is located right in the middle of the busy Radhanagar Bazar. If you know the Birnagarnadia area at all, you know how crowded the bazar gets, especially in the early mornings when everyone is out buying their daily supplies. Our shop is right there in the thick of all that action. It’s a fairly small place, filled to the brim with shelves of medicine and various health supplies. There is always a bit of dust blowing in from the road, no matter how much we try to sweep it away. We know most of the people who come in by their names because they live just a few streets away from us. It is not like those big, cold corporate pharmacies you see in the middle of the city. We have a small wooden counter where we talk to people and help them find exactly what they need for their families. Sometimes the power goes out in the whole bazar, and we have to use a battery light for a bit until the power comes back on. It’s just a normal part of life here. The constant noise from the market—the shouting, the bicycle bells, and the motorcycles—is the daily soundtrack to our work. We don't have a fancy website or any marketing people on staff. We just have our stock and our counter at Radhanagar Bazar. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep a small fan blowing behind us.
