Riseup Consultancy Private Limited is based out of a small place in Gobindapur Colony. Specifically, we are over in the Madhyapara area. It’s a quiet part of Hanskhali. The office is actually at Ankan Biswas's place. If you know the neighborhood, it is not hard to find. We are just a local group trying to handle consultancy tasks for people around here in Nadia. It’s not a big corporate setup or anything. Most of the time, we are just sitting around the table going through papers and trying to figure out the best way to move forward with different projects. Living and working in West Bengal means we see a lot of the same faces every day. We like that. It feels more like helping out neighbors than just doing a job. The office doesn't have a big sign out front, but everyone knows where Ankan’s house is. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, so we end up talking more than typing. We don't have fancy titles or uniforms. Just regular clothes and a lot of work to get through. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people show up at once, but we make it work. We've been here for a bit now, and we plan to stay. There is plenty to do in this part of the district. We just take things one day at a time and try to be useful.
