Onnay Nidhi Limited

You can find us at Ramnagar Gantra in Nadia. The office is run by Uttam Das and Sudeb Halder. We’ve been here for a while now, working as Onnay Nidhi Limited. It’s a local setup, nothing like those big corporate offices you see in the city with all the glass. We handle the savings and small loans for people around this part of Nadia. It’s mostly just us two and a bit of help, sitting at the desks and filling out forms manually. The office is simple, just some chairs and filing cabinets for the records. We try to be helpful when people come in with questions about their accounts or their interest. Ramnagar is a good place to be, and we know most of the people who live nearby or pass by the office. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home to our families. Some days are busier than others, especially when the month ends and everyone wants to update their passbooks at the same time. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can, but sometimes there’s a bit of a wait while we finish the paperwork. We aren't fancy, but we are here every day for our members. It’s a practical way to run a business and the locals seem to appreciate that we are easy to talk to without any fuss.
