This version of Napl is located in a village called Dighapara, which is near Barajaguli in the Nadia district. Being out in West Bengal in a more rural spot makes for a different kind of workday. We don't have the noise of a big city, just the sounds of the village and the occasional truck passing by on the main road. Our office is simple, just like the area around it. We handle everything from this small building. Sometimes the commute for some of us involves a bit of a walk or a ride through some very green fields. It’s peaceful, though it has its own set of problems like power cuts or the roads getting muddy when it rains. We don't bother with corporate talk or anything like that. We just speak plainly and get our work finished. There’s a sense of community here that you don't get in the big cities. People stop by to chat even if they don't have business with us. We try to keep things organized, but a village office always has a bit of character to it. You won't find any shiny glass towers here. Just a group of people working together in Nadia. We’ve been part of this landscape for a while now and we like it this way.
