Mukul Engineering Enterprise

Mukul Engineering Enterprise is located out in Village Kalyannagar. This is in the Nadia district, and it’s a lot different from the big city offices you see elsewhere. Our workshop is right in the heart of the village area. It’s a bit of a journey to get out here if you aren't used to the roads in Nadia, but for us, it’s just home. We do a lot of engineering work with the tools we have on hand. It’s dusty and loud most of the time because there is always some machine running or someone hammering on something. We don't have fancy titles or a human resources department. It’s mostly just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. The pace of life in Kalyannagar is slower, but that doesn't mean we aren't busy. People from the surrounding areas come to us when they need something fabricated or repaired. We see a lot of local farmers and small business owners. Usually, a lot of our day is spent outside the actual building, dealing with things in the yard. It’s honest work and it gets dirty. We eat our lunch together and talk about the news or the weather. There aren't any big corporate speeches here. We just look at what needs to be fixed and we try to do it right the first time. It’s a simple life and a simple business in a quiet corner of West Bengal.
