Mahalaya Textile Private Limited

We’re set up in the Saha Complex on Subhas Avenue, over in Ranaghat. Mahalaya Textile Private Limited is a local business through and through. We’re in the Nadia district, which is a bit of a trek from the main city, but we like it that way. The office is in a busy little area called Golap Sundari Chak. It's a lot of textile work, mostly dealing with the local trade and making sure everything is running smoothly. We aren't a huge team, just a few of us who know the business well. The complex can get a bit crowded during the day, but it’s a good spot to be in. We spend most of our time going through rolls of fabric and checking invoices. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit every day. We’re usually in comfortable clothes, moving stuff around or sitting at the desk. We’ve been here for a bit now and have got to know the other shop owners around Subhas Avenue. It’s a nice community feel. We don't do much in the way of advertising; most people just know where we are. It’s honest, simple work and we take it as it comes. There’s always something to do, whether it’s a late delivery or a new order to process. We just keep moving forward one day at a time. The afternoon heat can be tough, but the ceiling fans keep us going well enough.
