KARUNAMOYI NIDHI LIMITED

Karunamoyi Nidhi Limited is situated over in the Pashchimpara Ghugiya area of Chakdaha. It’s a local spot where people from around the neighborhood come to handle their small financial matters. We are not some big corporate entity with a glass building. Instead, we have a simple office that fits right in with the houses and small shops around us. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors. We spend our time going through files and making sure the records for our members are accurate. It can be a lot of typing and writing sometimes, but that is the job. We didn't want to make things complicated, so the office is set up in a way that feels comfortable. There are no fancy uniforms here. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Chakdaha is a busy place, but our little corner in Pashchimpara stays relatively calm. We often have people stopping by just to say hello or to ask a quick question about their accounts. It’s nice being a part of the daily life here. We don't spend money on big signs or posters. Everyone knows where we are. We just focus on keeping the books balanced and helping people save a bit of money when they can. It is practical work for practical people. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay, just doing what we do every day for the folks in Ghugiya.
